1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Asha Hug service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Asha Hug is an AI-powered emotional support chat service. It provides a conversational interface with AI characters designed to listen, empathize, and offer reflective dialogue. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic care. In case of emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in EU/RU, 911 in US).

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for: (a) any illegal purpose; (b) harassing, threatening, or harming others; (c) attempting to bypass safety measures or crisis detection systems; (d) generating or distributing malicious content; (e) automated scraping or abuse of the API; (f) any commercial resale of Service content without written permission.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans (Premium, Ultra) are billed monthly via YooKassa. You may cancel at any time; access remains until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided only where required by applicable consumer protection law. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All Service content, including AI character designs, conversation logs (in anonymized form), and software, is the property of Asha Hug or its licensors. AI character personas are based on public-domain mythological, historical, and literary figures or are original archetypal creations.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. Asha Hug is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

8. Crisis Situations

If you express thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, the Service is designed to provide crisis hotline information. However, the Service cannot guarantee real-time human intervention. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes shall be resolved in courts at the Service operator's registered location.
